High-end Steak & Seafood restaurant on the banks of the River Ness.
Prime started life as “Riva” – an Italian restaurant, which was bought by Cru in 2016 from a local operator who sold it after her 12-year tenure.
It was run as an Italian restaurant for a while, but as the market in Italian-Style dining became more and more saturated, we decided it was time for a change.
With the lack of a good steak restaurant in the city at the time, and with its riverside location, it made sense to look at the current concept.
After visiting many similar concepts in the central belt, London, and even as far away as New York, we felt we had the right concept with the balance of quality produce and relaxed service.
Prime Steak & Seafood was born.
Since then it has enjoyed continued growth year on year, and is now synonymous with quality dining in the Highlands.
